Educational Leader, Author and Academic Life Coach, Dr. Aginah M. Muhammad is the Executive Director of the Council on Teacher Education at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr. Aginah transitioned to higher education from PK-12 public education, after working in administration for nearly 10 years at Chicago Public Schools where she held various administrative roles in the Office of the CEO, School & Community Relations, The Office of Specialized Services and Human Resources. She enrolled  in the organizational leadership doctoral program at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology; there she earned her PhD. This   program was closely aligned with her professional and prior  academic course work in educational leadership and administration.
